About the Museum
Our story
The Nostalgic Media Museum grew from a lifelong passion for preserving the media devices that once shaped everyday life. What started as a personal collection grew into a fully-fledged museum that opens its doors to everyone who wants to relive the golden age of radio, television and photography.
The museum is located in De Panne, on the Belgian coast, and welcomes visitors of all ages. For older visitors it is a journey back to childhood; for younger visitors a discovery of a world before the internet and smartphones.
Our mission
We believe that technological heritage is just as important as cultural or historical heritage. Every radio, every camera, every television set is a witness of its time โ of the way people received information, listened to music and captured memories.
Our goal is to preserve these objects for future generations and make them accessible to the general public, completely free of charge.
Free admission
The museum is always free to enter. We believe culture and history should be available to everyone.
Donations welcome
Do you have an old radio, television, camera or gramophone at home? We gratefully accept donations.
